Star Trek: Enterprise
Enterprise was created by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga. It ran for four seasons, debuting on September 26, 2001 and ending on May 13, 2005 after 98 episodes, including "Broken Bow," a two-hour episode that was later aired in two-parts for reruns.
Although it is the most recent Star Trek television series, Enterprise is a prequel set in the 22nd century before the formation of the United Federation of Planets and the use of stardates. It follows the adventures of the first starship Enterprise, humanity's first warp 5 vessel, under the command of Captain Jonathon Archer (Scott Bakula). At first on temporary assignment, the ship is unexpectedly put into service after Earth's first contact when a Klingon crash-lands on the planet. While the Enterprise succeeds in returning the Klingon to his people, their assignment turns into a full-blown mission of deep space exploration. In addition to Archer, other main characters include the Denobulan Dr. Phlox (John Billingsley), the Vulcan first officer and science officer T'Pol (Jolene Blalock), Lieutenant Malcolm Reed (Dominic Keating), helmsman Ensign Travis Mayweather (Anthony Montgomery), communications officer Lieutenant Commander Hoshi Sato (Linda Park), and chief engineer Commander Charles "Trip" Tucker III (Connor Trinneer).
The only episode with a connection to Hamlet is "Cogenitor."
