Perchance to Dream
This four-issue comic book miniseries, which was released between February and May 2000 by WildStorm Comics, features the cast of The Next Generation experiencing nightmares and hallucinations. It is set between "All Good Things..." (the final episode of the series) and Star Trek Generations.
Summary: While the Enterprise crew is attending an election on a recent Federation planet, a political faction determined to keep the new leader out of office releases a telepathic weapon that causes dreams and hallucinations of its victims' greatest fears and failures.
Connection to Hamlet:
The miniseries and all of the comic books within it take their names from the "to be or not to be" soliloquy (Act III, Scene I):
#1 To Take Arms Against a Sea of Troubles
#2 By a Sleep to Say We End
#3 In the Sleep of Death, What Dreams May Come
#4 Enterprises of Great Pitch and Moment
The nightmares and hallucinations experienced by the Enterprise crew are not unlike Hamlet's visions of the Ghost.
